Mr Odigie is very experienced in the Nigerian oil and gas sector and maintains a strong working relationship with both industry operators and regulators.

OLUKAYODE (BOBO) KUTI

VICE CHAIRMAN + EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Bobo obtained a BA from Duke University, USA. He studied Economics & Psychology and also received a Markets and Management Certificate. Following university, he worked as an Investment Advisor for a South African investment fund, Huxton Capital and was in charge of a billion-dollar venture capital fund focusing on natural resources.

Bobo was a founding shareholder of Tende Energy and was the youngest Director of a UK company listed on the London Stock Exchange. He was appointed Chief Executive of Tende Energy in September 2013 and continues in that role. Since his appointment as CEO, he has been instrumental in the formation and structuring of the Company’s contact base in Nigeria and has responsibility for maintenance of those relations. He has been critical to the successful expansion of Tende Energy.

Bobo’s experience in project financing and extensive relationship within the international financial market has been key for COPDC’s access to debt and equity capital from a pool of tier-one international financial institutions, commodity traders, and private investors.

DAMI ONAJIDE

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Dami has extensive experience across Africa in infrastructure investment, development, public-private partnerships, and strategic advisory. He studied Materials and Engineering at Imperial College London before receiving a degree in Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.

Dami’s experience includes M&A at Barclays Capital, Investment Execution at Edmund de Rothschild Private Equity Select LLP, and Principal Investment at AFC. He has successfully participated in teams that have developed and invested over US$9 bn and originated US$15 bn of infrastructure deals in over 20 countries across the continent.

At AFC, Dami led the Ecosystem investment strategic initiative aimed at creating transactions on a cross-border level across various value chains and industries. As part of this initiative, Dami led a team focused on acquisition of large-scale strategic cross-border assets, restructuring and privatisation of government assets, as well as advising country governments and the International Donor Community on optimal / efficient public private participation.

CHIDUBEM OKOYE

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Chidubem has extensive experience advising across the entire spectrum of the oil and gas industry; and has been repeatedly ranked by the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) as a leading lawyer for his work on market-defining transactions in the oil and gas sector. He holds an MBA from the University of South Wales, UK.

Chidubem held management positions in two top-tier law firms in Nigeria, where he led and managed teams that advised major oil and gas industry participants such as NNPC Limited, Nigeria LNG Limited, Shell Petroleum Development Company Limited etc. on a broad range of matters spanning debt and equity capital raise, strategy and operations, and project development.

Chidubem has supported various companies on several cross-border corporate and project financings cumulatively raising more than USD35 billion. Also, Chidubem is part of the core team that developed the current template of the financing and technical services agreements, which has been utilised by NNPC Limited / NNPC E&P Limited to raise over USD10 billion for the development of oil and gas assets across Nigeria.

PETER OKUNDAYE

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Over his thirty-year energy-focused career, Mr. Okundaye has developed various business opportunities in Nigeria, West African countries and United States for a wide range of energy related companies including Famfa Oil Nigeria Ltd, Hoslyn Oil & Gas Services Ltd, Enron Engineering and Construction Corporation, Tenneco (El Paso Energy) and Dupont Nigeria Ltd (Conoco); as well as served as the Manager of Budget Pricing & Gas Pipeline Transportation for the Southwest market areas at Columbia Gas Transmission Corp.

He established Common Resources Ltd, which provided oil & gas related consulting services to Famfa Nigeria Ltd, the Nigerian oil company holder of the deepwater block OPL 216, which later became the one billion-barrel Agbami discovery after Texaco signed an exploratory agreement with Famfa Oil in 1996. He also founded Oases Offshore Nigeria Ltd (which in joint venture with Frontier Drilling USA), was awarded a two year, $221million, nine (9) offshore wells drilling contract by NNPC E&P Limited at OML 119. This was an industry first for an indigenous drilling company – in 2008.

PATRICK OKONMAH

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Dr Okonmah is a dual-qualified legal practitioner (UK and Nigeria) and holds a PhD (Wales) in Environmental Law.

Between September 1996 and 2002, Dr Okonmah worked at a number of law firms in London as a Litigator and Corporate Attorney before setting up Kola Fitzpatrick & Co. Solicitors, London (2002-2010), later Fitzpatrick & Co. Solicitors (2010-2022) where he remained Senior Partner from September 2002 till December 2022, when he stepped down to concentrate on his Nigerian practice as Executive Partner, Kola Fitzpatrick Law Partnership.

Dr Okonmah has authored and co-authored a number of articles in international law journals and is a regular speaker at conferences and workshops on environmental law, especially as they relate to the Niger Delta region in Nigeria. He sits on the board of several companies in Nigeria and is one of the promoters of Holborn Institute of Technology (and its subsidiary, Holborn Academy), an educational institution for the promotion of science and technology in Nigeria.

OLUFEMI OSUNDE

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Engr. Osunde is the Managing Director at CMES-OMS Joint Venture Limited. He has a handful of satisfactory top managerial experience in the oil & gas industry and power sector in Nigeria traversing engineering, fabrication, construction, procurement & installation, crude oil exploration and production process.

Engr. Osunde sits on the board of several companies including Compact Manifold and Energy Services Ltd, and Luda Nigeria Limited

OSAHON OKUNBO

NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mr Okunbo is a seasoned businessman and entrepreneur with over 15 years’ board and management experience in Nigeria across various industries, including oil and gas services and facilities engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and project management. In addition to oil and gas he holds various leadership positions across various non-oil sector industries such as hospitality, agriculture and aviation. Mr Okunbo sits as an executive and non-executive director of various companies, which employ directly and indirectly over 6,000 Nigerians.

During his career Mr Okunbo has overseen and managed the successful execution of projects and contracts valued at over $4bn, including a number of complex transactions within the oil and gas service sector. Mr Okunbo is part of the team developing the Egbolom field (OPL 202), the largest marginal field in the 2020 marginal field bid round.

Mr Okunbo holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Manchester University, UK and is a graduate of Lagos University Business School.
